Hello, Hi. I’m Frankie/France. Nice to officially meet you.
Now, I’m not new at this blogging thing by any means necessary. I have some experience I could say, but I think this is the first time I’m actually starting a blog at my “adult age” of 19.
I’ve been playing around with the idea of starting a blog for a while, and finally (during exam season might I add) I decided to go forth and just type.
This year has the potential to be something great, and I thought what better than to document it all. Something for me to look back at and be proud of as well as share with all of you.
Now reader, I feel it is important to mention that I have a bad track record with blogs but I’m gonna blame it all on young age and lack of vision. I think I found inspiration over the years and more importantly, I think I’ve found my voice.
That’s another thing; “finding your voice”, but we’ll have to get into that another time.
What can you expect from this blog I suddenly hear you ask reader?
A whole lot of wanderlust, experiences and other things I love (all things beauty xx).
Travelling is something I love to do and this year I’m really trying to find out who I am. You’re probably thinking how the two correlate? Well, I’ll give you two words.
I have one solo trip planned for this year as well as a couple of group trips but we’ll focus on the solo one for now.
I decided a month back that I didn’t know myself as well as I could do, I didn’t have anything I could say I loved doing or something I could count as a passion. That realisation really threw me backwards and I was in a bad place for a while. Then I got my exam timetable (don’t worry, we’ll do an “about the author” soon enough!) and realised this was the first year in a long while where I had no exams on my birthday.
Now, I’m not a big birthday celebrator but I took this as a sign. I decided to book a trip to Venice, Italy by myself. Random but I felt like I had to do it, the idea wouldn’t leave my mind for weeks so I decided to just go for it, and here we are.
30 something days until I fly out, and I’ll be taking you guys with me.
But yeah, this blog is really just something for me to document my experiences reader, and I hope you’re willing to come along with me.
What a cliche, but I do mean it.
Till next time.
with all my love,
