With UK staycations being the move, I spent Christmas in Edinburgh, Scotland – an entry for the “where she goes” series which has long since been ignored.
Being unable to travel this year made me realise that I use flying out as an escape from real life. You catch a flight and forget about your problems, I’m sure I’m not alone.
